Job summary

Asset Living seeks an experienced Community Manager to oversee all operations of a housing community on-site, supervising staff, leasing, maintenance, and financial administration.

You will lead staffing, ensure compliance with policies and fair housing, and manage budgets, marketing, and resident relations. The role emphasizes on-site leadership and coordinating with regional management to drive superior outcomes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred or four years of housing industry experience.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Ability to understand and perform on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Personnel management and on-site staff development.
• Regular on-site attendance and supervision of property operations.
• Develop yearly operating budgets and forecasts.
• Monitor rent collections, deposits, and charges for timeliness.
• Monitor vendor invoices and coding.
• Develop yearly marketing plans and leasing strategies.
• Handle resident complaints and retention initiatives.
• Oversee maintenance, repairs, and property inspections.
