Job summary

South Oxford Management is seeking a Community Manager to lead on-site operations and a diverse team, driving occupancy, revenue, and resident satisfaction. The role requires hands-on management of leasing, maintenance coordination, budgeting, and vendor relations.

You will oversee customer service, ensure compliance with Fair Housing and safety standards, and report to regional leadership. On-site work five days a week with a robust benefits package and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Three or more years of experience in property management, with at least one year as a Community Manager.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Must be able to work on-site five days a week; this role is not remote or hybrid eligible
• Strong professional appearance
• Must be able to walk the property, which includes climbing stairs
• Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, kneel, climb stairs, push, pull, reach, and carry supplies
• Stand for extended periods of time
• May be required to lift up to 25 pounds without assistance

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, and supervise all team members through a positive mentoring approach
• Lead a high-performing team to achieve occupancy, rent growth, and customer service goals
• Prepare operating budgets and maintain vendor relationships
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports
• Ensure rent is collected and posted in a timely manner and deposits made promptly
