Job summary

South Oxford Management LLC is hiring a Community Manager in Cliffwood, NJ. The role oversees all aspects of the community’s operation, including leasing, maintenance, and resident relations.

Lead a high-performing team to meet occupancy, rent growth, and service goals. The position requires on-site presence five days a week, with a strong focus on budgeting, vendor management, and compliance with Fair Housing and company policies.

Qualifications

• On-site role requiring five days a week presence
• Professional appearance and strong leadership
• Three or more years in property management with at least one year as Community Manager
• Willing to work weekends and holidays
• Ability to walk property, climb stairs, and lift up to 25 pounds
• Strong communication and tenant relations experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Yardi experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, and supervise all team members through a positive mentoring approach
• Drive occupancy and NOI through strategic marketing and leasing
• Oversee day-to-day business operations and budgeting for the community
• Ensure rent is collected and deposits posted in a timely manner
• Maintain vendor relationships and communicate about schedules and invoices
• Report incidents and maintain safety and compliance
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and applicants
