Job summary

Asset Living is hiring a Community Manager to oversee the operations of a housing community on-site, reporting to the Regional Manager. You will supervise staff, leasing, maintenance, budgeting, and risk management to ensure compliance with policies and safety standards.

The role requires on-site attendance, housing operations experience (CAM/ARM preferred), basic computer skills, and knowledge of Fair Housing laws.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred or 4 years housing experience.
• CAM or ARM certification preferred.
• On-site software proficiency and basic computer skills required.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all operations of the housing community on-site under the Regional Manager.
• Supervise staff, leasing, maintenance, and administrative tasks.
• Develop yearly operating budgets and forecasts; monitor deposits, rents, and vendor invoices.
• Ensure compliance with Asset Living policies, safety standards, and fair housing guidelines.
• Lead on-site team through training, coaching, and performance management.
• Drive leasing performance, resident satisfaction, and community retention policies.
• Coordinate marketing plans and resident retention programs.
• Respond to resident concerns and emergencies promptly and effectively.
