Job summary

Asset Living seeks a Community Manager to oversee housing community operations on-site, supervising staff, managing leasing, budgeting, and safety compliance. The role manages personnel, leasing, maintenance, and risk across property operations under Regional Manager guidance.

On-site leadership requires strong staff development, financial oversight, and resident relations. CAM/ARM certification and fair housing knowledge are preferred assets for success.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or four year’s experience in the housing industry; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Personnel management and supervision of on-site staff.
• Regular/daily onsite attendance is required and scheduling.
• Develop and implement leasing, marketing, and resident retention plans.
• Manage financials: budgets, deposits, rent collections, vendor invoices.
• Emergency readiness: lead on-call team and ensure safety and compliance.
