Job summary

Greystar is seeking an on-site Assistant Community Manager to oversee financial operations for a 236-unit community. You will handle rent collection, deposits, and reconciliations, and use Yardi/OneSite to maintain records and run reports.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 1–3 years’ experience in property management or residence life, with strong communication and organizational skills. Occasional collaboration with leasing and maintenance teams is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1–3 years minimum in residence life and/or property management.
• Understanding of lease terms and lease enforcement, including collections.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated with the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Collects and posts rent, fees, and other payments, prepares daily bank deposits and reconciles accounts.
• Operates property management software (Yardi/OneSite) correctly and keeps data updated.
• Reviews resident files to determine unpaid or late fees and enforces lease terms to maximize revenue.
• Reviews and submits vendor invoices for payment with proper coding and approvals.
• Provides timely responses to resident questions and supports on-site operations and make-ready tasks.
