Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Community Manager to oversee all operations of a housing community under the supervision of the Regional Manager. As an on-site leader, you will supervise personnel, leasing, maintenance, financial administration, and risk management to ensure compliance with policies and fair housing guidelines.

Responsibilities include developing annual budgets, marketing plans, resident relations, lease execution, and coordinating maintenance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or four years’ housing industry experience.
• CAM or ARM certification preferred.
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of Fair Housing Laws.

Responsibilities

• Personnel management and staff development.
• Regular/daily onsite attendance is required; supervise on-site staff and leasing operations.
• Develop yearly operating budgets and forecasts; monitor deposits, rent collections, and expenses.
• Develop yearly marketing plans and leasing strategies; ensure leases are executed and documented.
• Oversee maintenance and administrative functions; ensure safety, compliance with policies, and risk management.

Education

High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or four year’s experience in the housing industry; or one to two years related experience and/or training

Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred
