Job summary

Havenpark Communities is seeking a Community Manager to run an on-site operation for a 181-home community. You will lead a small team, oversee budget, collections, leasing, vendor management, and the resident home-sale process, ensuring a high standard of service and compliance.

You will engage residents daily, manage difficult conversations about money, and drive occupancy and resident satisfaction. Hiring processes include two Zoom conversations, typically within two weeks of applying.

Qualifications

• Track record of commitment with a single employer or long tenure elsewhere.
• Sales or customer-facing experience with measurable results.
• Experience running an operation: business, store, crew, or budget.
• Comfort working with maintenance and construction trades.

Responsibilities

• Manage community financial performance: budget, expense management, and NOI.
• Collections: accurate billing, on-time rent, and legal notices per state law and Fair Housing standards.
• Occupancy and leasing: rentals, renewals, and approval of incoming residents.
• Lead a small on-site team: hiring, developing, and day-to-day leadership.
• Vendor/contractor relationships across landscaping, maintenance, and home rehabs.
• Curb appeal, amenities, safety standards, and capital projects on time and on budget.
