Job summary

Irvine Company Apartment Communities, a division of Irvine Company, seeks a Community Manager in Orange, CA. The role leads onsite teams to drive financial performance, resident relations and property aesthetics, with a focus on service excellence and strong leadership across 1281 units.

The position oversees leasing processes, collaborates with maintenance and project teams, and ensures adherence to company standards. CA driver license and ability to work flexible hours are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 2 years of management experience in a customer service environment; leasing experience preferred.
• Valid California driver's license; maintain vehicle liability insurance as required by state law.
• Clear verbal and written English communication; multilingual is a plus.
• On-call for after-hours emergencies; ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Create a customer service focused culture for residents, prospects, vendors and employees; respond to and resolve requests and concerns; lead by example.
• Train, onboard, and develop all team members with focus on engagement and retention; coach direct reports to excellence.
• Lead leasing process or oversee leasing manager at larger communities.
• Build relationships with internal and external customers to provide best in class service.
• Communicate strategic business practices with community leadership to ensure efficiency and consistency.
• Manage property financial performance, budget variances, and input for budgeting/forecast planning; identify revenue opportunities.
• Ensure community condition and Irvine Company standards are met.
• Develop and manage resident communications.
• Monitor metrics like renewals, occupancy, NTVs, NPS, and social feedback; take corrective actions.
• Complete audits and inspections ensuring policies and compliance.
• Collaborate with other departments and cross-divisional teams.
