Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Community Manager in Nashville to oversee an on-site housing community, manage staff, leasing, and finances, and ensure compliance with safety and fair housing guidelines. This role requires strong leadership, financial acumen, and a customer-focused approach.

You will supervise all property operations, coordinate maintenance and renovations, and drive leasing efforts while maintaining resident satisfaction and retention.

Qualifications

• On-site property management responsibilities and leadership expectations.
• Experience with leasing processes, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• Familiarity with Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Personnel management and staff development.
• Daily on-site attendance is required.
• Screen, hire, train, coach, and develop on-site staff.
• Provide ongoing training and guidance per company benchmarks.
• Develop weekly/daily staff schedules and assignments.
• Address performance issues and document HR communications.
• Promote harmony and high performance among staff.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Develop annual operating budgets and forecasts.
• Monitor rent deposits, collections, and charges timely.
• Review vendor invoices for accuracy and timeliness.
• Oversee property closeout and ownership reporting.
• Develop marketing plans and leasing strategies.
• Ensure lease signing and documentation accuracy.
• Respond to resident complaints and requests to drive satisfaction.
• Implement resident retention programs.
• Conduct unit walk-throughs for make-ready and work orders.
