Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Community Manager to oversee all on-site operations of a residential community in Clayton, NC. You will supervise staff, coordinate leasing, maintenance, and financial administration while ensuring compliance with Asset Living policies, safety guidelines, and fair housing rules.

As the on-site leader, you will develop budgets, manage vendor relationships, implement resident retention programs, and deliver exceptional customer service to residents.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or four years housing industry experience.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all property operations on-site under Regional Manager guidance.
• Manage staff, leasing activities, maintenance, and administrative tasks.
• Monitor budgets, deposits, rent collections, and vendor invoices.
• Ensure compliance with Asset Living policies, safety standards, and fair housing guidelines.
• Lead emergency response and ensure high resident satisfaction.
