Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Community Manager in Clayton, NC. You will oversee all on-site operations, supervise staff, and manage leasing, maintenance, and financial responsibilities to ensure compliant, high-quality housing communities.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in affordable or conventional housing, knowledge of Fair Housing and OSHA, and experience with on-site software. This role offers a comprehensive total rewards package and a stable, growth-focused work environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or four years’ experience in housing.
• CAM/ARM certification preferred.
• Ability to use on-site software and basic computer skills.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Personnel management and staff development.
• On-site leadership of property staff.
• Budgeting and financial management for the property.
• Strategic leasing, marketing, and resident retention.
• Address resident complaints and ensure satisfaction.
• Coordinate maintenance and service requests; supervise contractors.
