Job summary

Abode Communities is seeking an on-site Property Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of residential properties. This role involves rent collection, budget monitoring, and ensuring compliance with LIHTC/HUD programs while maintaining strong occupancy levels through proactive marketing and resident services.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, coordinating maintenance, preparing reports, and addressing tenant concerns promptly.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of property management experience, including Tax Credit, HUD, and HOME programs.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Computer literate (MS Office) and good English communication skills.
• Bilingual Spanish-English a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collect rents and maintain computer records per procedures.
• Ensure Low-Income Housing Tax Credits compliance and accurate files.
• Monitor expenses and variances for property budgets.
• Post charges and generate notices for residents; pursue delinquent accounts.
• Market units to low-income households and maintain high occupancy.
• Oversee maintenance, move-in/out reports, and safety standards.
• Counsel residents on lease compliance and coordinate services with staff.
