Job summary

Abode Communities in Los Angeles is seeking a Property Manager to oversee 39 multifamily communities serving low-income residents. You will manage rents, compliance, budgets, and occupancy to sustain stable housing operations.

You will supervise staff, coordinate maintenance, verify eligibility, and collaborate with service providers to uphold Housing First principles while delivering professional service to residents and vendors.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of property management experience, including Tax Credit, HUD, and HOME program.
• Good English in order to communicate verbally and in writing with residents, vendors and co-workers.
• Bilingual Spanish-English a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collect rents and maintain computer records according to Abode Communities’ procedures.
• Show vacant apartments utilizing professional marketing procedures and maintain a high level of occupancy by leasing property in a timely manner.
• Maintain tenant files and related documentation regarding continuing eligibility and adjustments.
• Complete move-in and move-out reports and related documentation for filing.
