Job summary

Greystar is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to support the Community Manager in overseeing financial operations and daily property management tasks at our Arlington, VA community.

You will collect rents, manage deposits, run reports, and ensure accounting accuracy using Yardi/OneSite. The role requires 1–3 years in property management, strong communication, and detail orientation, with federal/state regulations followed carefully.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Communications, or related field; preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in residence life and/or property management; demonstrates day-to-day operations knowledge.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; detail‑oriented and self‑motivated; able to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily financial operations: rent collection, postings, deposits, and reconciliations.
• Operate property management software (Yardi/OneSite) and maintain data integrity.
• Review leases, apply collections, and enforce terms to maximize revenue.
• Process vendor invoices, code charges, and coordinate with stakeholders for approvals.
• Assist in evictions per policy and manage move-outs per lease terms.
• Support leasing/marketing by greeting prospects and processing applications.
