Job summary

Greystar is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to support daily financial operations and resident services at a multifamily community. You will collect rent, process payments, reconcile accounts, and assist with reporting using Yardi/OneSite.

Strong communication and attention to detail are essential to ensure lease compliance and smooth operations. The role requires 1–3 years in property management or residence life, a bachelor’s degree preferred, and the ability to work independently while

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Communications, or related field preferred.
• 1–3 years minimum of relevant experience in residence life and/or property management.
• Understanding of lease terms and lease enforcement, including collections.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated with the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Collects rent, fees, and payments; prepares daily bank deposits and reconciles accounts.
• Operates property management software (Yardi/OneSite) and updates system accurately.
• Reviews resident files to determine unpaid/late fees and enforces lease to maximize revenue.
• Reviews and submits vendor invoices; codes charges and communicates with stakeholders.
• Follows eviction procedures and represents the community in court if required.
• Handles move-outs; applies deposits and processes disposals per procedures.
