Job summary

Greystar is seeking an on-site Assistant Community Manager in Virginia to oversee and manage financial operations of the community, including rent collection, deposits, and reporting. You will use property management software to record and report financial activity, reconcile accounts, and ensure lease enforcement to maximize revenue.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Communications, or related field from an accredited college or university.
• 1-3 years minimum of relevant experience in residence life and/or property management that demonstrates the application of community management, sales, marketing, and customer service background.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Detail-oriented and self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Collects and posts rent, fees, and other payments; prepares daily bank deposits and reconciles accounts.
• Operates Yardi/OneSite and updates the system to ensure data integrity.
• Review and follow up on unpaid balances and delinquencies with residents.
• Process invoices, approve payments, and coordinate with vendors and owners.
• Assist in managing the client/owner relationship and support leasing/marketing efforts.
