Middleburg Communities is seeking an experienced Assistant Community Manager to enhance resident service and assist in managing community operations, leasing, collections, and financial reporting.

The role involves inputting OneSite data, meeting revenue goals, overseeing leasing duties, and maintaining high customer service standards. Strong communication and knowledge of housing laws are essential for success.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent with 2 years of Assistant Manager experience is required; Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in the property management, hospitality, or retail industries.
• Proficient computer skills in a Windows environment, including property management software (OneSite preferred), and computerized accounting experience.
• Working knowledge of applicable Landlord Tenant Laws, Fair Housing mandates, and other legal issues affecting property management.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• The normal work schedule is a Monday - Friday schedule with rotating weekends; (hours may vary to meet the business needs of the property).

Responsibilities

• Manage rent collection, delinquencies, banking activities with daily deposits, and preparation of collection documents.
• Assist in revenue goals, maintain occupancy budgets, ancillary income, and monitor financial performance.
• Perform all administrative functions; accurate payroll reporting and timely reporting documentation.
• Available for emergencies, on-call duties, resident functions, and weekends.
• Advise Community Manager on conditions affecting resident safety and asset preservation.
