Job summary

Canon U.S.A., Inc. is seeking a customer-focused On-Site Services Assistant to support mail, courier, reception, shipping/receiving and related site operations in the New York area.

This role emphasizes prompt problem resolution, strong service orientation and teamwork. You will respond to requests, maintain records, and ensure client satisfaction while complying with security and policy requirements. A HS diploma and ability to lift up to 50 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required, plus less than one year of related experience.
• Basic computer skills/technical knowledge.
• Ability to work OT as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Ability to spend extended periods standing, bending, walking, reaching, and pulling while performing duties.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in order to meet deadlines.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Required to take all necessary steps to obtain security and/or other clearances required by customers to enter the customers' premises.

Responsibilities

• Inform supervisor of potential problems or customer concerns.
• Review and respond to management and client requests via emails, phone calls, text messages and verbal.
• Provide strong customer service.
• Contribute to the creation of the Site Procedure Guide to ensure all account processes are properly recorded.
• Responsibilities may include Copy/Print Production/Copy Center, Copier Maintenance, Mail/Courier Services, Reception/Office Services, Shipping/Receiving, Inventory Services, Warehouse, File Room/Records File Services based on assigned location.
• Attend cross-functional trainings to ensure ability to provide coverage when short-staffed.
• Site responsibility and location of coverage may change based on client and/or division needs.
• Mail/Courier Services: track courier and accountable items, respond to customer requests, upkeep equipment, record inquiries.
