Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks an on-site Continuous Improvement Engineer in Indianapolis, IN to apply data-driven CI, engineering, and lean methods across operations. You will lead slotting, 5S, Kaizen events, and support automation efforts to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

Interact with all levels and report to CI leadership. Ideal candidates have experience with WMS (Manhattan SCALE), data analytics, and core lean tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years in warehousing, transportation or manufacturing
• Lean tools knowledge (5S, Standard Work, Visual Management)
• Experience with data visualization and database programming is preferred
• Strong communication and leadership in CI projects

Responsibilities

• Collects data and performs statistical analysis to identify gaps
• Leads CI projects and supports automation initiatives
• Develops and executes value stream maps and Kaizen events
• Documents processes and drives sustainment of improvements
• Provides regular progress reports to management
