Job summary

Volunteers of America Los Angeles (VOALA) is seeking an Entry-level Case Manager to provide coordinated services for clients in interim and permanent housing. You will perform assessments, develop care plans, and connect participants to needed resources, working on-site with a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires the ability to handle challenging situations, adherence to mandated reporting, and a commitment to helping individuals regain stability in housing and services.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass fingerprint clearance and background checks.
• Ability to perform under potentially emotional stress when dealing with challenging clients.
• 6 months of social services case-related experience or an associate’s degree in a related field in lieu of experience.

Responsibilities

• Assessment and action planning with clients to meet needs.
• Coaching and social support for participants.
• Care coordination, case management, and housing navigation.
