Job summary

Volunteers of America Los Angeles is seeking a Case Manager Generalist to provide on-site case management for clients with low acuity. You will coordinate services, assess needs, and connect clients with housing, employment, and health resources.

The role requires fingerprint clearance and a background check, with a focus on compassionate, client-centered support and advocacy within VOALA's network in Los Angeles. On-site work is essential and community impact is strong.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass fingerprint clearance and background checks.
• Ability to work under emotional stress with difficult clients.
• Experience in case management or similar social services role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct screenings and assessments to collect client information.
• Develop and coordinate individualized case plans.
• Advocate for clients before agencies and service providers.
• Coordinate care and services with team members and families.
• Engage clients to achieve short- and long-term goals.
• Provide on-site services and support as needed.
