Job summary

Encore is hiring a Technician to set up and operate basic AV systems in a hospitality setting, ensuring on-site customer satisfaction. You will work with event staff and report to Operations leadership to deliver seamless event experiences.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, accurate paperwork, and vendor coordination, while applying upsell opportunities to support hotel and client objectives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Associate’s degree preferred.
• Internal applicants must meet training/certification requirements per Encore’s Global Learning Training Program.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required for team members that may operate company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and break down basic audiovisual equipment as listed in the qualifications.
• Strive to exceed customer expectations and maintain positive client relationships.
• Troubleshoot equipment and software issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Complete system entries and paperwork accurately; use equipment sheets and coordinate with staff and vendors.
• Contribute to revenue by floor upselling and helping finalize invoices.
