Job summary

Encore is seeking a Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in a hotel/convention center, ensuring flawless events and high guest satisfaction.

You will work on site with clients, troubleshoot equipment and software, complete Navigator entries, and assist with invoices. Requires a HS diploma (associate degree preferred), 1 year of hospitality/AV experience, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. This role may require irregular hours and coordination with staff and vendors.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required for team members that may operate company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and break down basic audiovisual equipment to ensure flawless events.
• Meet with guests on site to ensure needs are met and equipment works properly.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve equipment/software problems promptly.
• Complete order entries and interact with staff and outside vendors as needed.
