Job summary

Rose Associates seeks an Assistant Community Manager for our multifamily properties. This role supports the Community Manager in daily operations, resident relations, and administrative tasks to ensure vibrant communities run smoothly.

Responsibilities include handling resident inquiries, managing leases, analyzing budgets, and coordinating Move In/Move Out activities while maintaining strong vendor relationships and on-site operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years multifamily leasing or assistant community management experience.
• Proficiency in community management software and Microsoft Office.
• Technical knowledge of building operations and maintenance.
• Understanding of marketing trends, budgeting, and reporting.
• NYS real estate license or ability to obtain within 120 days; license must be registered.
• Weekend availability (Saturdays and Sundays).

Responsibilities

• Address resident requests, complaints, and inquiries in line with contractual obligations and standards.
• Liaise between ownership and residents; draft and distribute communications.
• Foster positive relationships among residents, management, and staff.
• Analyze income/expense patterns, budgeting, accounts payable/receivable, and file compliance paperwork.
• Prepare monthly reports and monitor delinquency.
• Coordinate Move In/Move Out schedules and leases; process renewals and notices.
• Support lease administration and renewal processes in management systems.
• Assist with vendor coordination, inspections, and renovations as needed.
• Maintain competitive marketplace intelligence for occupancy and retention goals.
