Job summary

Propiedades Adelante in San Francisco is seeking an Assistant Community Manager (full-time, non-exempt) to oversee leasing for a portfolio of small-site affordable housing. It reports to the Property Supervisor and requires a detail-oriented, proactive communicator with a passion for community development.

The role involves rent collection, unit showings, tenant screening, and coordination with Compliance to meet HUD, Tax Credit, and Section 8 requirements. On-site presence is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with leasing experience preferred
• High School Diploma or GED and 2+ years in affordable housing
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Knowledge of Fair Housing, HUD, Tax Credit and Section 8 programs

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of small-site properties and lease units
• Collect rent and issue notices as needed
• Schedule and coordinate maintenance and inspections
• Market units according to approved plans and screening criteria
• Maintain occupancy targets and track aging delinquencies
• Enter data in Yardi and DAHLIA systems
