Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Community Manager to oversee all on-site operations at a North Carolina property. You will supervise staff, manage leasing, maintenance, and financial activities while ensuring compliance with company policies and fair housing guidelines.

The role emphasizes resident relations, budgeting, reporting, and coordinating marketing to optimize occupancy and NOI. A CAM/ARM background or related certifications are preferred, with a focus on teamwork and safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee on-site personnel management and staff scheduling.
• Lead screening, hiring, training, and development of on-site staff.
• Ensure compliance with Asset Living policies, safety and fair housing guidelines.
• Develop yearly operating budgets/forecasts and manage financial reporting.
• Monitor deposits, rent collections, and charges for timely processing.
• Coordinate leasing activities, marketing plans, and resident retention programs.
• Respond to resident concerns to maintain high satisfaction and retention.
• Direct maintenance and administrative operations to ensure timely work orders.
