Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Affordable Housing Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily operations and financial functions of an affordable housing community on-site in the United States. You’ll supervise staff, manage leasing, maintenance and risk, and help optimize cash flow and NOI while ensuring fair housing compliance and strong resident service.

Ideal candidates bring at least a high school diploma, two years’ housing experience, and knowledge of onsite software.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or two years experience in the housing industry; or equivalent combination.
• Ability to understand and perform all onsite software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and financial functions of the housing community under supervision of the Community Manager.
• Assist in delinquency and rent collection to optimize cash flow and financial position.
• Supervise staff, leasing, maintenance, administration, and risk management on site.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety and fair housing guidelines.
• Monitor revenue/expense performance and assist with end-of-month closing procedures.
