Job summary

Asset Living seeks a Community Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of a housing community under the Regional Manager. You will supervise staff, manage leasing, maintenance, and financials, ensuring compliance with policies, safety, and fair housing guidelines.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of affordable housing program experience and may hold CAM/ARM credentials. The role emphasizes leadership, budgeting, and resident relations within a fast-growing company.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience with affordable housing programs (LIHTC, HUD, etc.).
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations of the housing community on-site under Regional Manager supervision.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, training, coaching, and development of on-site staff.
• Ensure compliance with Asset policies, safety, and fair housing guidelines.
• Develop yearly operating budgets/forecasts and monitor financials.
• Plan and implement leasing/marketing strategies to optimize occupancy.
• Show, lease, and move-in prospective residents; address resident concerns.
• Coordinate maintenance and administrative tasks, manage emergencies and safety.
