Job summary

Arizona College of Nursing – Las Vegas campus is hiring an Admissions Advisor to guide prospective students through the admissions journey on-site.

You will handle inquiries, process applications, conduct campus tours, and coordinate communications. The role emphasizes customer service, compliance, and teamwork with Enrollment Services.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (Associates Degree preferred).
• 1 to 3 years’ experience in admissions, retail sales, consumer marketing or recruitment.
• High degree of professionalism and discretion dealing with confidential information.
• Must be organized, professional, and warm to our potential and current students.
• Exceptional ability to organize, prioritize and multi-task in a dynamic environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work with a diverse community.
• Knowledge of college admissions procedures and of student recruitment and retention issues.
• Skill in the use of computerized systems and databases.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with prospective students, parents, and community through appointment, telephone, email, and other materials.
• Welcomes prospective students by processing paperwork; interviewing applicants; arranging campus tours; following up with letters and calls.
• Maintains recruiting operations by following policies and reporting needed changes.
• Adheres to all compliance and regulatory standards.
• Maintain professional interaction with a wide range of individuals and VIPs internal and external.
• Advises students and families regarding educational opportunities and admissions requirements.
• Assists leads and inquiries to the college in a caring, thorough manner.
• Conducts effective phone presentations and interviews with candidates.
• Supports enrollment growth through diligent follow-up and timely data reporting.
• Maintains integrity of the admissions database for local and state/federal reporting.
