Job summary

Arizona College of Nursing is seeking an Admissions Advisor for our growing campus. This on-site role focuses on guiding prospective students through the admissions journey and providing campus support. Depending on department needs, there may be opportunities to enroll and assist students nationally.

The Admissions Advisor supports enrollment efforts, represents the College, and reports to the Executive Director of Enrollment Services. Strong communication with prospective students is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• 1–3 years’ experience in admissions, retail sales, consumer marketing or recruitment.
• Professionalism, discretion with confidential information.
• Organized, professional, and customer-friendly.
• Strong multitasking in dynamic environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of college admissions procedures.
• Experience with computerized systems and databases.
• Ability to set goals and plan.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with prospective students, parents, and community through appointment, telephone, email, and other materials.
• Welcomes prospective students by processing paperwork; interviewing applicants; arranging campus tours; follow-up activities.
• Maintains recruiting operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.
• Adheres to all compliance and regulatory standards.
• Maintain and develop professional interaction with a wide range of individuals and VIPs.
• Advises students and families regarding educational opportunities and options, admission and other requirements, policies and procedures as appropriate.
• Assists each lead and/or inquiry to our college in an honest, caring, and thorough manner.
• Conducts effective phone presentations and interviews with each candidate.
• Increases percentage of enrollments and starts from leads through training and follow-up.
• Works cooperatively to provide appropriate data for reporting, institutional research, and institutional effectiveness.
• Works to maintain the integrity of the student database in order to ensure complete accuracy for local records, as well as state and federal reporting.
