Job summary
Electrical Automation Services in Mesa, AZ, is hiring a PLC Controls Engineer for a Glendale-area facility on a 2-2-3 schedule (6:00 AM–6:00 PM). The role serves as on-shift controls expert, troubleshooting PLC, HMI, VFD and servo systems, and leading automation projects.
Qualifications include an associate degree in engineering technology and at least four years in high-speed manufacturing automation. A 20% target bonus and relocation assistance are offered along with a comprehensive benefits
Qualifications
- Associate degree in engineering technology, information systems, or related field.
- At least four years of industrial automation/controls experience in high-speed manufacturing environments.
- Strong PLC troubleshooting and programming capabilities.
- Experience with HMIs, VFDs, servo systems, instrumentation, and electrical control systems.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary on-shift controls and automation expert.
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 troubleshooting for automated production and packaging equipment.
- Diagnose PLC, HMI, VFD, servo, instrumentation, and network issues.
- Develop and execute controls projects to improve safety, quality, reliability, and throughput.
- Support high-speed beverage processing, filling, canning, conveying, and packaging systems.
