Job summary

Electrical Automation Services in Scottsdale (on-site) seeks an experienced Controls Engineer for our Glendale facility. You will serve as the on-shift controls expert, diagnosing PLC/HMI/VFD issues and driving improvements across packaging lines.

Requirements include 4+ years in industrial automation, an associate degree, and knowledge of Allen-Bradley PLCs, HMIs, and FactoryTalk. Relocation assistance is available; schedule is 2-2-3, 6:00 AM–6:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in engineering technology, information systems, industrial automation or related field.
• 4+ years of industrial automation or controls experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment.
• Strong PLC troubleshooting and programming capabilities.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and control drawings.

Responsibilities

• Serve as on-shift controls and automation expert for production lines.
• Troubleshoot PLC, HMI, VFD, servo, and network issues to restore production.
• Develop and execute controls projects to improve safety, quality and throughput.
• Mentor maintenance technicians and operators.
