Electrical Automation Services in Phoenix, AZ seeks a seasoned Controls Engineer to provide on-site automation support at the Glendale plant on a 2-2-3 day schedule (6:00 AM–6:00 PM). You will troubleshoot PLC, HMI, VFD, servo, and network issues on high-speed beverage lines and lead small controls projects.

The role includes mentoring maintenance technicians and operators, documenting changes, and collaborating with operations, maintenance, engineering, and quality to improve safety,

Qualifikationen

• Associate degree in engineering technology or related field.
• At least four years in industrial automation or controls.
• Strong PLC troubleshooting and programming.
• Experience with HMIs, VFDs, servo systems, and networks.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and control drawings.
• Willingness to work a 2-2-3 schedule (6:00 AM–6:00 PM).

Aufgaben

• Serve as on-shift controls and automation expert.
• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 troubleshooting for production equipment.
• Diagnose PLC, HMI, VFD, servo, and instrumentation issues.
• Develop and execute controls projects to improve safety, quality, reliability, and throughput.
• Support high-speed beverage processing, filling, conveying, and packaging systems.
• Mentor maintenance technicians and operators.
• Maintain backups and documentation for controls systems.
