ALL ABOUT ON DEMAND

You can work as much or as little as you like as an On-Demand TM and your schedule may vary depending on shift availability and store needs. This role is ideal for those looking for a personalized work schedule.

As an On-Demand TM, you will not be included on the posted weekly schedule but can create your own schedule by picking up shifts via our myTime mobile scheduling app. Active engagement by picking up and working shifts and responding to our contact attempts is required.

Regular attendance is necessary, with a minimum of one shift every 4 weeks; effective December 2024, this changes to once every 5 months to prevent administrative termination. You must respond to contact attempts to confirm your interest in shifts.

Participation in a Target Welcome orientation and structured training is required. Afterward, shifts can be picked up through the myTime app.

ALL ABOUT SERVICE & ENGAGEMENT

Guest Advocates focus on welcoming, thanking, and exceeding guest expectations through interactions and recovery. They promote store capabilities and features to drive adoption and loyalty, making shopping quick and easy at checklanes, guest services, and fulfillment areas.

Skills developed include communication, problem solving, adaptability, and promoting store services.

Typical responsibilities include:

• Delivering exceptional guest service
• Greeting guests authentically
• Understanding guest needs through body language and verbal cues
• Engaging with guests to understand their needs
• Being knowledgeable about products, services, and store tools
• Efficiently scanning, bagging, and assisting with returns
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area
• Supporting safety, compliance, and guest service functions
