About On Demand

You can work as much or as little as you like as an On-Demand TM, with your schedule varying based on store needs and shift availability. This role is ideal for those seeking a flexible, personalized work schedule. As an On-Demand TM, you will create your schedule by picking up shifts via our myTime app, and active engagement is required—responding to contact attempts and working at least once every 4 weeks (minimum of four hours). Effective December 2024, you must work at least once within 5 months to avoid termination.

Role Responsibilities and Expectations

As a Guest Advocate, your role involves:

• Providing exceptional guest service by greeting and assisting guests authentically
• Understanding guest needs through body language and conversation, and offering tailored solutions
• Promoting Target’s products, services, and loyalty programs
• Handling transactions efficiently and accurately, including returns and order pickups
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
• Supporting store operations and guest services, including cash handling and safety compliance

Qualifications and Skills

Ideal candidates are enthusiastic about working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, with skills in effective communication, problem-solving, and multitasking. Basic technology operation and a helpful attitude are essential. Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

Additional Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 44 pounds and stand for extended periods
• Reliable attendance and active engagement in shift management
• Capability to work in varying temperatures and environmental conditions
