You can work as much or as little as you like as an On-Demand TM and your schedule may vary depending on shift availability and store needs. This role is ideal for those seeking a personalized work schedule.
As an On-Demand TM, you will not be included on the posted weekly schedule but will create your own schedule by picking up shifts via our myTime mobile scheduling app. Your active engagement by picking up and working shifts, as well as responding to contact attempts, is required.
Regular attendance is necessary. You are expected to pick up and work shifts at least once every 4 weeks (minimum of four hours). Flexibility can be granted if unable to meet this due to personal circumstances, but you must respond to contact attempts to confirm interest. You must work at least one shift within 6 months (or 5 months starting December 2024) or face administrative termination.
Upon offer, you will attend a Target Welcome orientation and complete a short-term training schedule. Afterward, shifts can be picked up via the myTime app.
As a guest experience advocate, you will focus on welcoming guests, exceeding service expectations, and promoting store services and digital solutions to foster guest loyalty. Skills developed include communication, problem-solving, adaptability, and promoting store benefits.
Typical responsibilities include demonstrating service standards, greeting guests, understanding guest needs, assisting with products and services, and ensuring a clean and safe work environment.
