ALL ABOUT ON DEMAND

You can work as much or as little as you like as an On-Demand TM and your schedule may vary depending on shift availability and store needs. This role is ideal for those seeking a personalized work schedule.

As an On-Demand TM, you will not be included on the posted weekly schedule but can create your own schedule by picking up shifts via our myTime mobile scheduling app. We require your active engagement in picking up and working shifts and responding to our contact attempts.

Regular attendance is necessary. You must work at least once every 4 weeks (minimum of four hours), with flexibility for personal circumstances. Starting December 2024, you must work at least once every 5 months to avoid administrative termination.

Your communication and ability to work when needed are critical to your success in this role.

If offered a position, you will attend a Target Welcome orientation and complete a short-term training schedule. Afterward, shifts can be picked up via the myTime app.

Advocates of guest experience who welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations by focusing on interaction and recovery. Knowledgeable about store capabilities and features to drive adoption, usage, and guest loyalty. Empowered to make shopping quick and easy at checklanes, guest services, gift registry, and pick-up/delivery options.

Typical responsibilities include:

• Delivering excellent guest service
• Greeting guests authentically
• Understanding guest needs through body language and questions
• Being knowledgeable about store tools, products, and services
• Scanning and bagging efficiently and accurately
• Minimizing wait times while maintaining service quality
• Informing guests about brand launches, store events, and loyalty programs
• Assisting with app features like Wallet and store services
• Handling returns, de-escalating issues, and supporting order pick-up and drive-up services
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
• Supporting cash office and other duties as needed
