ALL ABOUT ON DEMAND

You can work as much or as little as you like as an On-Demand TM and your schedule may vary depending on shift availability and store needs. This role is ideal for those looking for a personalized work schedule.

As an On-Demand TM, you will not be included on the posted weekly schedule but can create your own schedule by picking up shifts via our myTime mobile scheduling app. You are expected to actively engage by working shifts and responding to contact attempts. Regular attendance and active engagement are required, with a minimum of one shift every 4 weeks (or 5 months starting December 2024). Failure to meet these requirements may result in employment termination.

Participation involves attending a Target Welcome orientation and completing a short-term training schedule. Afterward, shifts can be picked up via the myTime app.

ALL ABOUT SERVICE & ENGAGEMENT

As a Guest Advocate, you will focus on delivering exceptional guest service, engaging with guests, promoting store offerings, and ensuring a welcoming environment. Your role involves:

• Greeting guests authentically
• Understanding guest needs through body language and questions
• Being knowledgeable about store products, services, and loyalty programs
• Efficiently scanning, bagging, and managing transactions
• Supporting order pick-up, Drive Up, and other services
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Ideal candidates are enthusiastic, team-oriented, and enjoy interacting with guests. Skills include effective communication, multitasking, attention to detail, and a helpful attitude. Prior experience is not required as training will be provided.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Handling cash register operations accurately
• Moving merchandise safely (up to 44 pounds occasionally)
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Active engagement in shift pickup and response to contact attempts
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and environments
• Remaining mobile during shifts
