Job summary

Axiom Technologies in Davenport, IA is seeking an AV Support Engineer – L2 Field Support for on-site, on-demand field work. This independent contractor role involves troubleshooting meeting room AV environments, installing new rooms, and coordinating with remote teams.

Qualifications

Hands-on experience troubleshooting meeting room technologies, AV equipment, and MS Teams Rooms.
Strong knowledge of network connectivity and peripherals.

Responsibilities

Advanced Onsite Troubleshooting: diagnose AV issues and collect logs for remote analysis.
New Meeting Room Setup & Build: install and configure meeting rooms, MS Teams Rooms, cameras, DSPs, displays, and peripherals.
IMACD Activities – Install, Move, Add, Change & Decommission: relocate equipment and manage installations/ replacements.
Advanced Configuration Support: assist with Teams Admin Center configurations and DSP setup.
Network & AV Issue Isolation: coordinate with network team to isolate issues and test QoS and paths.
UAT & Meeting Room Certification: perform tests and sign-off activities; support with users and IT teams.
Documentation & Reporting: update tickets with findings, capture logs and maintain as-built docs.
