Job summary

Johnson Controls International plc. is seeking Service Technicians to diagnose problems and perform service and repairs on card access, CCTV, burglar alarm systems and other building system products at customer sites.

You will provide high level service as a trusted advisor, read blueprints and manuals, follow troubleshooting procedures, install and commission systems, and stay available for on-call emergencies.

Qualifications

• 2+ years documented experience with card access and CCTV.
• Knowledge of test equipment, multi-meter, digital analyzer, and commissioning devices.
• Experience installing, inspecting, repairing, and programming card access and CCTV.
• Fire alarm experience is a plus.
• Experience reading blueprints, submittals, and manuals.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Capable of physical labor up to 50-70 lbs.
• Able to pass pre-employment background and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose problems and perform service/repairs on card access, CCTV, burglar alarm systems at customer sites.
• Provide high level customer service to solve building inefficiencies and issues.
• Follow troubleshooting procedures and reference manuals to repair equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, specs, and manuals.
• Provide quotes and recommendations to improve facility efficiency.
