Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Service Technician to diagnose and repair card access, CCTV, and burglar alarm systems at customer sites. You will provide solutions and outcomes at the time of service and act as a trusted advisor to customers to improve building efficiency.

Responsibilities include following troubleshooting procedures, installing and commissioning systems, and communicating with customers to ensure satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 3+ years documented experience with card access and CCTV.
• Knowledge of test equipment, multi-meter, digital analyzer, and commissioning devices.
• Experience installing, inspecting, repairing, and programming card access and CCTV.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Capable of performing physical labor up to 50-70 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose problems and perform service on card access, CCTV, burglar alarm systems at customer sites.
• Provide high level of service to solve building inefficiencies and resolve items.
• Follow troubleshooting procedures and reference manuals to repair equipment.
• Read blueprints, diagrams, and specifications to support service tasks.
• Provide quotes and recommendations to improve facility efficiency.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through effective communication and on-call availability.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
