Kinder’s Meats & Deli & BBQ is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support our restaurant locations by keeping equipment, facilities, and back-of-house operations running smoothly. The role requires comfort with troubleshooting, and the ability to work independently while prioritizing safety and efficiency.

This on‑call position with travel between stores offers a flexible schedule and the opportunity to keep multiple kitchens performing at their best.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance, facilities, or handyman work (restaurant or commercial kitchen experience preferred).
• Strong knowledge of back-of-house kitchen equipment and systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues independently.
• Comfortable handling a wide range of repairs (mechanical, minor electrical, plumbing, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair issues across multiple restaurant locations, including kitchen equipment, plumbing, electrical, and general facility repairs.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and identify issues early.
• Travel between locations as needed and respond to maintenance requests promptly.
• Maintain safe, clean work areas and follow all safety protocols.
