Job summary

Southside Market & Barbeque is seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to service our restaurants and commissary. You will diagnose and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC and walk‑in refrigeration systems, while keeping detailed records in Ecotrak CMMS and coordinating with contractors.

The role requires up to multi‑site travel, the ability to work after hours, and strict adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Degree from a vocational school preferred.
• Any Facilities or Maintenance Certificates a plus.
• 3 years of Maintenance Technician experience preferred, restaurant environment.
• Experience supporting multi-unit locations.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC/R, plumbing, electrical systems.
• Reading electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics.
• CMMS experience (Ecotrak) required.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Food Handler Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and components.
• Repair and maintain plumbing systems and valves per codes.
• Maintain HVAC, refrigeration, and walk‑in equipment in a food facility.
• Manage facilities software, log work orders, and track parts.
• Support preventive maintenance and coordinate with contractors.
• Handle daily work orders with urgency to minimize downtime.
• Travel between restaurants as needed.
• Be on-call after hours, holidays, and weekends.
• Adhere to safety and security standards.
• Perform other duties as required.
