Penn Station Sandwiches seeks a skilled Maintenance Technician to support 13 restaurant locations across Middle Tennessee and Bowling Green, KY. The role emphasizes hands-on problem-solving, independent work, and emergency responsiveness to keep restaurants operational and safe.

The ideal candidate has HVAC and plumbing experience, is comfortable with restaurant equipment, and can handle day, night, and overnight shifts across multiple sites with travel between locations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in HVAC, plumbing, and general maintenance.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues efficiently.
• Experience working with restaurant or commercial kitchen equipment is highly preferred.
• Willingness to learn new skills and attempt unfamiliar repairs using manuals, videos, and guides.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities across multiple locations.
• Flexible and reliable with emergency response availability.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Comfortable working days, nights, weekends, and overnight hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs across multiple restaurant locations.
• Diagnose and repair issues related to HVAC systems, Plumbing, Carpentry, Electrical.
• Repair grills, fryers, ovens, refrigeration equipment.
• Handle basic electrical and mechanical systems.
• Carry out general building repairs and maintenance and cosmetic work.
• Respond promptly to equipment and facility emergencies affecting operations.
• Perform preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
• Communicate repairs, timelines, and parts needs to management.
• Travel between locations as needed and maintain a safe work environment.
