Kinderd's Meats Deli BBQ is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep restaurant equipment, facilities, and back-of-house operations running smoothly across multiple locations. The role suits someone who enjoys fixing, troubleshooting, and taking ownership of repairs, with on-call support and flexible scheduling.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on maintenance experience in restaurant environments, be able to troubleshoot independently, and lift up to 50 lbs while maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in maintenance, facilities, or handyman work (restaurant or commercial kitchen experience strongly preferred).
• Strong working knowledge of back-of-house kitchen equipment and systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues independently.
• Comfortable handling a wide range of repairs (mechanical, minor electrical, plumbing, etc.).
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license required.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment (up to ~50 lbs).
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to use cell phone app to clock in/out and receive job assignments.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair issues across multiple restaurant locations, including kitchen equipment, plumbing, electrical, and general facility repairs.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance to reduce equipment downtime.
• Identify potential issues before they become major problems.
• Travel between locations as needed to complete repairs.
