Job summary

Franklin Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep the property buildings and grounds in good repair. You will diagnose problems and perform HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, and pool maintenance.

The role requires completing resident work orders, maintaining tools and safety, and being available on-call. A high school diploma or GED is required; HVAC certification is preferred; CAMT recommended; Fair Housing certification within 1 day of hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 years related experience.
• HVAC certification preferred; CAMT recommended; Fair Housing Certification within 1 day of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC repairs, carpentry, appliance repairs, glass replacement, etc.
• Respond promptly to resident work orders and notify management upon completion.
• Responsible for the daily repair and upkeep of the community.
• Perform routine maintenance punch on vacant units prior to new resident occupancy.
• Responsible for care, maintenance and inventory of all supplies and equipment owned by the community and/or the company.
