Job summary

Franklin Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our properties in top condition across buildings and grounds. You will diagnose and repair systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliances, ensuring safety and compliance.

Responsibilities include responding to resident work orders, performing routine maintenance on vacant units, managing tools and supplies, and maintaining a professional appearance while upholding company safety policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1–3 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• HVAC certification is preferred; CAMT is recommended; Fair Housing Certification required within 1 day of hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintain efficient operation and upkeep of property buildings and grounds.
• Respond to resident work orders and notify management on completion or delays due to back-ordered supplies.
• Perform general maintenance such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC repairs, carpentry, appliance repairs and other tasks as needed.
• Keep track of tools, supplies and equipment, ensure safe handling and storage.
