Job summary

Franklin Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our properties in optimal condition, handling HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and related systems. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and coordinate with residents and management.

This full-time, on-site role requires a high school diploma or GED, 1–3 years of related experience, and a valid driver’s license. HVAC certification is preferred; CAMT recommended; Fair Housing certification within 1 day of hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years related maintenance experience and/or training.
• HVAC certification preferred; CAMT recommended.
• Fair Housing Certification required within 1 day of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC repairs, carpentry, appliance repairs, glass replacement, etc.
• Respond promptly to resident work order requests and notify management on completion or back-ordered items.
• Responsible for daily repair and upkeep of the community.
• Perform routine maintenance punch on vacant units prior to new resident occupancy.
• Maintain supplies and equipment inventory and keep work areas clean and safe.
