Job summary

Franklin Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep property buildings and grounds in good condition. You will diagnose problems and perform HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, and appliance repairs as needed.

Responsibilities include responding promptly to resident work orders, maintaining supplies, and ensuring safety standards. The role requires on-call availability and a professional appearance at all times.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years related maintenance experience.
• HVAC certification preferred; CAMT recommended.
• Fair Housing Certification within 14 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC repairs, carpentry, appliance repairs, glass replacement.
• Respond promptly to resident work orders and notify management upon completion.
• Maintain daily repair and upkeep of the community.
• Perform routine punch work on vacant units prior to new occupancy.
• Care for supplies and inventory, keep work area and tools clean.
